Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Transport Operations Manager for a Transport company. The company are based in The Heathrow area.
Role Description:-
You will be responsible for overseeing daily transportation operations, managing drivers, ensuring compliance, communicating with customers, and maintaining high levels of customer service.
- Answering emails
- Quotations
- Customer Services
- Provide efficient and reliable express transport solutions.
- Dealing with Same day / Time critical shipments
Must be proactive, able to think on your feet and work well in a pressured environment.
Based on a 50hr week with on call duties on a rota involved.
Must have a full 5 year checkable work history.
Qualifications
- Supervisory Skills and Fleet Management
- Effective Communication Skills
- Strong Customer Service Orientation
- Ability to prioritize tasks and problem-solve efficiently
- Experience in logistics or transportation industry
- Leadership abilities and decision-making skills
