We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Clinical Coder/Code Reader to join our client's GP practice in Hounslow. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the efficient management of patient records and ensure high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and code incoming clinical correspondence using SystmOne
Enter pertinent information into patients' electronic medical records
Highlight actions for clinicians and workflow to appropriate team members
Organise medical records, linking problem titles and ensuring accuracy
Contact patients to action requests, such as booking blood tests or appointments
Maintain compliance with coding protocols and QOF requirements

Essential Requirements:

Excellent written and spoken English
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, particularly SystmOne
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Understanding of medical terminology and NHS coding practices (1 year of experience minimum)
