I am currently recruiting for a highly organised and proactive School Office Manager. The successful candidate will be the central point of contact for various administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of the office environment. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, and a keen eye for detail.

Day to Day of the Role:
  • Answering and directing calls, managing the central info@ mailbox, and prioritising emails.
  • Handling incoming and outgoing post, including buying postage and sending letters.
  • Directing visitors to meeting rooms and managing room bookings via Google Calendar.
  • Liaising with building management for access passes.
  • Maintaining office supplies, including stationery, refreshments, and printer care.
  • Assisting with IT troubleshooting and supporting staff with technical issues.
  • Managing social media postings and updating company websites.
  • Coordinating logistics for meetings, including ordering lunches and setting up rooms.
  • Handling compliance-related communications and dealing with FOI requests.
  • Supporting the IT team with information gathering and issue reporting.
  • Assisting with the preparation and distribution of marketing materials.
  • Taking minutes at meetings and maintaining various administrative records.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in using office software, including email clients, Google Calendar, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with social media management and content posting.
  • Familiarity with basic IT troubleshooting and willingness to assist staff with technical issues.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Experience in an office administration role is highly desirable.
