We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bakery Pre-Packer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for packaging baked goods, ensuring products are of the highest quality, and maintaining a clean and organised work environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Packaging: Accurately weigh, wrap, and label baked goods such as bread, pastries, and cakes.
• Quality Control: Inspect products for quality, ensuring they meet company standards before packaging.
• Inventory Management: Keep track of packaging materials and report shortages to supervisors.
• Organisation: Arrange packaged goods for storage or delivery in a neat and organized manner.
• Hygiene & Safety: Maintain cleanliness of the packing area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with bakers and other team members to meet production goals.

Skills and Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience in a bakery or food production environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to identify defects and inconsistencies in products.
• Physical Stamina: Comfortable with standing for long periods and handling repetitive tasks.
• Time Management: Capable of working efficiently to meet deadlines.
• Teamwork: A cooperative attitude and the ability to work well with others.
• Compliance: Understanding of food hygiene and safety standards (training can be provided).
