Butler Ross are continuing to support the world's fastest growing airport with their recruitment, and are looking for a talented category manager (or contract manager) to join our client on a permanent hybrid-working basis (3 days a week on site). This position will be managing a category spend of circa. £40 million covering Marketing & Digital; a mixture of more traditional/classic areas (Branding, promotions) as well as mar-tec and digital initiatives in-line with the organisation's direction and values.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading (and supporting others) in the creation, development and delivery of pre-contract & category strategies
- Leading end-to-end sourcing activities
- Effective implementation and operation of contract management process
- Adhering to relevant governance and regulations in performance of associated duties
Ideally you will have:
- Experience with either Marketing, Mar-tec, Professional Services or IT (software / SaaS)
- Experience with category management and contract-based procurement
- At least 2 years experience in similar procurement / commercial positions
