(Transport Coordinator) - Position Overview Assistant Sameday Coordinator required!My client is a leading UK logistics company based in West Drayton, specialising in next-day and same-day delivery of air and sea freight. They are now looking for an Assistant Sameday Controller to help Develop and build a new same day service utilising Third Party and Circle Express resources.

• You will be tasked with managing and controlling our Clients Sameday and AOG requirements via the comany's network and various sub-contractors.
• Ensure service meets clients' expectations and agreed KPIs.
• Plan and develop systems and procedures to improve operating quality and efficiency of the depot. Supervise other members of staff in accordance with company policies and procedures.

(Transport Coordinator) - Position Requirements

• Being a point of contact for Sameday / AOG for clients of the company Headquarters in West Drayton.
• Efficiently utilising the available resources to deliver excellent service to customers.
• Work in closely with the Operations Manager to ensure the company runs as efficiently as possible.
• Ensuring accurate storage and prompt retrieval of information.
• Ensuring both colleagues, teams, and clients are advised of appropriate information.
• Maintain close relationships with Sameday / AOG clients.
• Obtaining and processing information to enable appropriate decisions to be made.
• Assisting when required in the induction and appropriate training of individuals

Experience & Qualifications

• Experience in Sameday or On-Demand courier.
• Experience with client and Driver support.
• In depth knowledge of courier requirements.
• Knowledge of Aviation Security.
• Ability to work under pressure in busy fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels.
• Strong decision-making skills.
• Highly organised and excellent time management skills.
• Ability to proactively develop clients through dynamic pricing as required.
• Can work as a part of a team and on their independently.

(Transport Coordinator) - Position Remuneration

• £25,000 - £27,000
• Monday to Friday
• 14:00pm - 23:00pm
• Contractual 40 hours per week with a 1-hour unpaid break per day.
• Holiday: 25 days plus bank holidays
• Notice: 1 month (after probation)
• Auto enrolment Pension
• Paid on call for Out of Hours cover will be a key part of this role.
• Flexibility to the set shift hours will be required on occasion.
