About the Role:

As a Maths Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a high-quality education that equips students with the skills and confidence to excel academically and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and dynamic maths lessons for [specific year groups, e.g., Key Stage 3, 4, and 5], tailored to meet diverse learning needs.

  • Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that promotes curiosity, critical thinking, and participation.

  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to encourage improvement and celebrate success.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop an innovative and effective curriculum, ensuring continuity and progression across year groups.

  • Stay informed of current developments in mathematics education, incorporating new methodologies and technologies to enhance learning.

  • Actively participate in extracurricular activities, such as maths clubs, mentoring, or competitions, to further inspire a love for the subject.

  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support individual student progress and address any concerns.

  • Uphold the school’s policies and procedures, including those relating to safeguarding and student welfare.
