• The school is seeking a well qualified and enthusiastic teacher of science
• the science department is highly successful both in terms of attainment and progress
• The GCSE progress score for science in 2023 and 2024 was significantly positive placing the department in the top 20% nationally for progress, and many students stay on to study A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
• The suitable Science teacher will either be an ECT or experienced teacher
• You should be able to teach science throughout the ability range at KS3 and KS4
• preferably you will also be able to offer one of the Sciences biology, chemistry or physics at A level
• The school and department offer excellent support and there is a very experienced Science department.
• You must hold Qualified Teacher Status to be considered for this role.
