Teaching Assistant

Clarus Education is keen to meet with bright, articulate & ambitious Graduates who are eager to gain hands-on classroom experience as a Teaching Assistant within an 'Outstandingā€™ West London Secondary School. This Secondary School is renowned for producing some of the best GCSE and A Level results within the borough.

Role details - Teaching Assistant:

Ā· Providing tailored group & 1:1 support to pupils across KS3, KS4 & KS5

Ā· Supporting students with SEN (additional learning needs) & EAL (English as an additional language)

Ā· Planning & delivering booster interventions

Ā· Ensuring that your key students are on-track to achieving their end of year targets

Ā· Working alongside the Inclusion Lead & outside agencies

Ā· ASAP start

Ā· Full time & long-term role - the rest of the academic year

Ā· Ā£90 - Ā£105 per day (depending on experience)

Ā· School based in Hounslow

Requirements - Teaching Assistant:

Ā· Ideal -2:1 or higher degree and/or experience in TA work

Ā· Creative, team player, and motivated

Ā· Experience working in a child related setting

Ā· Understanding of the UK curriculum and Education system

Ā· Enjoys working with and developing childrenā€™s learning

Ā· Is happy to take part in new training and learn from others

Ā· A positive role model to children showing strong English and Maths

The successful candidate will be subject to enhanced clearance through the Disclosure and Barring Service and employment will be subject to references.
