The School and Role

I'm recruiting on behalf of an excellent Special Needs Independent School based in Brentford, West London. We’re looking for a Key Stage 1 & 2 Teacher to support pupils with Autism and Complex needs

The working environment here is one of outstanding support, team work, and a common goal in mind; providing a quality learning environment for their pupils. This school prides itself on giving the opportunity for students to experience a wide variety of curriculum subjects.

Many of their learners have not had success in their education elsewhere. They support their Learners to build trust and desire to learn by offering wrap-around pastoral care. They focus on building positive relationships that help to break down barriers, build self-esteem and challenge disaffection.

  • Have a kind, caring, and compassionate nature which is used to plan and deliver inclusive, fun, and inspiring lessons
  • Have a recognised UK teaching qualification
  • Have previously taken opportunities during ITT or otherwise to enhance your knowledge and understanding of children with SEND
