At Academics, we are eager to find a dedicated SEN Teacher who can thrive in a mainstream Primary school setting in Hounslow, providing essential support to children with Special Educational Needs. This role is ideal for someone with extensive experience and knowledge in teaching children with SEN, particularly in helping them engage with the school's vibrant and varied curriculum. Your primary focus will be on supporting students with Autism and those with complex SEMH needs. You'll be responsible for leading intervention groups and offering one-on-one assistance to enhance their learning experience as a SEN Teacher in this great school in Hounslow.

The school features an outstanding leadership team, and you will collaborate closely with the SENCO and classroom teachers. A strong emphasis is placed on fostering excellent relationships with parents and carers, ensuring that families of children with SEN receive the additional support they need. As a SEN Teacher you will be:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or relevant teaching qualifications
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or readiness to apply for a new DBS)
- Strong knowledge of the Primary curriculum
- Experience in SEND settings
- A willingness to engage with the broader school and local community
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
