Location

HYBRID WORKING-The successful candidate will be required to come into Hounslow House on Wednesdays, conduct home visits and hotels visits in the community of Borough of Hounslow. Two days of the week can be used to complete admin tasks but the role requires the successful individual to be flexible. We require 5 visits to be conducted in the week to Guests and Sponsors under the Homes for Ukraine scheme.


Description

PURPOSE OF ROLE:

To support the development, delivery and co-ordination of non-statutory, borough wide issues in response to refugees, asylum seekers and evacuees living in Hounslow.

All applicants must have have experience of both asylum and HfU(Homes for Ukraine) scheme please.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

* To provide a first-class service to refugees and asylum seekers in Hounslow via telephone, in person, and online (via email; Hounslow Connect).

* To promote a philosophy of putting service user needs first at every opportunity, as well as being adaptable and flexible in how to approach day to day work, responding to changing priorities.

* To show good verbal and written communication skills, and ability to engage with people who are experiencing challenging circumstances, showing empathy and understanding.

* To link multiagency partners with the resident to show a considered and joined up approach to their situation.

* To work on the various aspects of the Homes for Ukraine scheme, including database management and engagement with sponsors, including home visits across the borough.

* To ensure casework is progressed professionally, promptly, and in accordance with Council policies, procedures, charters and current legislation.

* To review cases regularly keeping detailed records of all actions and communications with involved parties.

* To maintain accurate and relevant records of customer data. Ensure that resident contact details are kept up to date. Maintaining data protection and customer confidentiality.
