We have an urgent opportunity for an immediate start with our HE client. This is for an HR Systems Programme Manager on an Fixed-term contract until the end of September this year. This has a strong likelihood of extension. Salary: £50-65.5k Location: Brighton This role is Hybrid working with expectancy to be in the office a few times a month for key meetings with stakeholders.

Overview:Lead the transition from the current HR platform to a new system, ensuring delivery within agreed timeframes and budgets. Collaborate with vendor teams, Head of People Operations, and SMEs from HR, Finance, Technology, and Procurement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Propose and gain approval for a suitable HR system solution, considering functionality, budget, and maturity.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts in collaboration with the procurement team.
- Oversee responsibilities across SMEs, ensuring effective change control and process definition.
- Regularly engage stakeholders to review change management, milestones, and budgets.
- Develop documentation and training materials for implementation.
Person Specification:Essential Criteria:
- Proven project management experience, including transitioning enterprise applications.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Expertise in milestone tracking, budgeting, and stakeholder collaboration.
- Experience in risk mitigation, quality management, and motivating cross-departmental teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable:
- Experience delivering HR transition projects in higher education or regulated environments.
