Role & Responsibilities
Serving as the backbone of financial advisory operations, the Investment Administrator provides critical administrative support to Financial Advisers and the wider Administration Team.
Investment & Pension Administration: Process fund switches, investment purchases/sales, new business updates, and maintain client contributions and income requirements.
Client & Adviser Support: Assist advisers with client meeting preparations, document collation, and handle client queries via phone and email.
Regulatory & Compliance Tasks: Support pension crystallisations, drawdown processes, deceased cases, and transfer updates, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Process Improvement & Projects: Contribute to platform migration projects, moving assets efficiently while maintaining service excellence.
To be considered:
Industry Expertise: Experience in the IFA / Wealth Management sector, with a strong understanding of provider platforms.
Technical Skills: Strong computer skills, the ability to learn new software, and proficiency in investment administration.
Organisational Abilities: Capable of managing multiple tasks, prioritising effectively, and escalating issues when necessary.
Communication & Teamwork: Excellent interpersonal skills for collaborating with advisers, providers, and internal teams.
