The role will be working within the very busy Dispute Resolution department, where we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated senior Paralegal to join our growing team.

You will be working closely with the Partners and Solicitors in the team, providing crucial support in a variety of property-related and General Litigation matters.

Key Responsibilities

These will include but not limited to:-

  • Assist with the management of a busy caseload of property litigation matters, including landlord and tenant disputes, service charge disputes, lease renewals, dilapidations, possession proceedings, and boundary disputes in both the County Court and First Tier Tribunal.
  • Oversee and assist other paralegals with day to day queries and support
  • Conduct legal research and assist in drafting legal documents such as letters, witness statements, court applications, and pleadings.
  • Prepare trial bundles and assist with document management for hearings and trials.
  • Liaise with clients, counsel, landlords, tenants, and third parties, ensuring they are kept updated on the progress of their cases.
  • Prepare and organise legal correspondence, including contracts, notices, and other legal documents.
  • Maintain and update case management systems, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
  • Assist with training team members and developing the department and its case management support processes

Previous Paralegal experience working on Property Litigation and/or General Litigation matters is essential for this role. As well as a strong understanding of property law and the litigation process.
