Role Objective

Reporting to the Marketing Manager based in Hove, this is a key new position within the marketing team, and will contribute to the overall marketing plan roll out, performance and success for the company as a whole.

They are bringing together the best in financial advice companies into a single business, and this role will be at the heart of this acquisition and integration process and in bringing our brand mission and values to life with an extensive omni-channel marketing strategy.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social media and email marketing strategies that drive engagement, brand awareness, and lead generation.
  • Write, edit, and proofread high-quality content for different platforms (social media, emails, blogs and website etc).
  • Design engaging and on-brand visual assets for social media using Canva or similar tools/software.
  • Collaborate with the SEO team to ensure content is optimized for search engines.
  • Manage content calendars and ensure timely delivery of content.
  • Monitor and analyse content performance and suggest improvements.
  • Research industry trends to create relevant and engaging content for social media and emails.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders for content creation.
  • Use the CRM system to create email sequences and content that enhances the customer journey and analyse email campaigns and performance as well as build automated email campaign journeys.
  • Support the wider marketing team in gathering online reviews.
  • Support with the running of online and in-person events such as client webinars.
  • Contribute to and manage internal communications.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience with social media marketing.

Knowledge of graphic design tools like Adobe Creative Suite/Canva (optional, but beneficial).

Knowledge and experience

  • Proven experience in content marketing and content creation with a strong focus on social media and email marketing or a related role.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to adapt to different content styles and platforms.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to analyse data and turn insights into actionable content strategies.
