Role: Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant - SEN School

Location: Brighton/ Hove

Salary: £80 to £90 per day

Timeplan Education are currently recruiting for an experienced Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to work in a secondary SEN school in Brighton/ Hove. The school supports pupils with ASC, SEMH and moderate learning needs with a strong pupil centric approach and are very passionate about ensuring all SEN pupils have the right support.

Working within a class of 8 or less pupils, you will be supporting students that have anxiety, sensory needs and moderate learning needs where you will assist in the planning of their lessons alongside the teacher. You will also support students on a 1-1 basis within the classroom helping build their confidence and being a mentor to them. For this role it is very important that you have prior experience of supporting children or young people with learning needs.

Hours are 8.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday. This is a full-time role that starts in September. There is also the opportunity to apply for a permanent role at this school.

If you do not have a DBS on the update service, we would ask you to apply for a new DBS before you can start this role which we can process for you.
