Bookkeeper
I am currently recruiting on behalf of my prestigious client, based inHucknall, Nottingham,for an experiencedBookkeeperto join on a full-time, permanent basis.
Joining this established company, the successful applicant will need to be an experienced Bookkeeper who is a proficient user of Xero.
In this supportive environment, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and helping keep the finance department in order.

About the role:
- Managing the Sales and Purchase Ledger
- Maintain accurate financial records using Xero
- Process Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure financial transactions are recorded correctly
- Prepare financial reports for management review
- Supporting company accountant with preparing the quarterly and end of year accounts
- Quarterly VAT Return
- Payroll
- Ad-hoc Accounts Administration tasks
Hours and Pay:
- Monday to Friday - 9am till 5pm
- Salary up to 34,000 - dependent on experience
- Permanent
About you:
- Proven Bookkeeping experience is essential
- Xero accounting software experience is also essential
- Competent daily user of Microsoft Office and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines and targets
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
