Management Accountant - 6 Month FTC Wakefield area£50,000 - £60,000 January Start
We are currently partnered with a fantastic business in the Wakefield area as they look to recruit an experienced Management Accountant into their team on a 6 Month Fixed Term Contract.
As a mentor of a full team the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the team are developing, learning and growing in their role.Key Responsibilities:
- Balance Sheet Management: Oversee and maintain the integrity of the balance sheet.
- SG&A Analysis
- Team Mentoring and Support: Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to the team.
- Banking Operations: Manage relationships with banks and ensure smooth banking transactions.
- Treasury Management: Oversee treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting and liquidity management.
- Year-End/Tax/Audit Support: Prepare and respond to year-end, tax, and audit requirements.
- Statutory Bridge Knowledge: Apply expertise in statutory accounting and bridging adjustments.
- VAT Management: Address and resolve current VAT-related issues.
- Month-End Management Accounts: Prepare and review management accounts, including variance analysis.
