Sonic Summary

The position of Information and Access Officer in Adults Social Care is a full-time role requiring 37 hours of work per week, from Monday to Friday.
This initial 6-month contract offers a salary of £14.40 per hour (limited company), which is equivalent to £11.44 per hour on a PAYE basis, excluding holiday pay.
The primary responsibility of the role is to serve as the main contact point for adult social care inquiries, handling a high volume of approximately 50,000 contacts annually.
Candidates should possess customer service experience and the ability to work efficiently under pressure, along with strong IT literacy and communication skills.
The team is located in Huddersfield town center, and training will be provided to help manage the demands of the position.

* Full time (37 hours) Monday to Friday

* Initial 6 month contract, with possibility of extension

* £14.40 ltd per hour (equivalent to £11.44 PAYE exclusive of holiday pay)

Purpose

The core purpose of this role is to provide the main contact point for all adult social care enquiries.

Responsibilities

The team deal with both telephone and electronic contacts and it is a high volume team dealing with 50K contacts per year across multiple systems, therefore we are looking for candidates with strong IT literacy and excellent communication skills. You will be provided with training to support with the pressures and demand of the role. The team are based in Huddersfield town centre and working Monday to Friday.

The ideal candidate will have:

Customer Service experience
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
