Sonic Summary

People Solutions is seeking Class 2 Drivers for a Monday to Friday position starting at 7.00 AM in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
The pay rate for this role is £14.00 per hour, with weekly pay and site parking provided.
Candidates must be aged 25 or over and have held a valid UK Category C Driving Licence for at least two years.
Responsibilities include driving a Class 2 vehicle, conducting vehicle inspections, and performing multi-drop deliveries with pallet work.
Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential, along with a UK DIGI Card and CPC Card, and a clean driving record with no major endorsements.

Class 2 Driver

Monday - Friday: 7.00AM starts

Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour

People Solutions are currently recruiting for Class 2 Drivers to join our well-established client based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.

You must be aged 25 or over for our client's insurance purposes.

This role will be covering pallet work.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.

Day to Day Duties

Drive Class 2 Vehicle
Multi Drop work
Pallet work
Conduct vehicle inspections
Ensure vehicle is well presented at all times
Handball required
Abide by driving rules & regulations
Deliver to residential and other depots.
Use a tail lift
Ability to use electric pump truck
Ensure all loads are safe and secure

Essential Skills

Have held a valid a UK Category C Driving Licence for at least two years
Hold a UK DIGI Card
Hold a UK CPC Card
No more than six penalty points
No major endorsement codes
Over the age of 25 due to client's insurance purposes
Excellent timekeeping
Good communication skills
Excellent customer service skills

Desirable Experience

Experience working on pallet work is desirable but not essential
