We are currently seeking to employ a Temporary Works Designer to work for our client, a leading construction company working on a major railway/infrastructure project in the Yorkshire region.
Working as part of the Temporary Works Team you will develop temporary work design solutions for live projects and tenders on this large infrastructure project. The focus is on delivering safe, practical, economical and sustainable designs and you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of applications including earthworks, earth retaining structures, foundations, structural steelwork, reinforced concrete, timber, and formwork/falsework.
The following are mandatory requirements:
Experience in civil/structural engineering design for structures commonly required by BAM UK&I, which may include earthworks, earth retaining structures, foundations, structural steelwork, reinforced concrete, timber and formwork/falsework.
Experience in the use of a range of civil/structural engineering design/analysis software and draughting/modelling packages.
Experience in construction methods and processes.
Degree in Civil Engineering or a related subject.
