Purpose of role

To manage the delivery work plans produced for any company vehicle across the UK and Ireland, ensuring required customer service levels are met whilst optimising the efficiency of the operation and meeting key performance indicators. 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Effectively communicate with drivers, other staff, customers and suppliers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ensure delivery plans are vetted for any errors and that all vehicle checks have been completed
  • Manage all drivers, helping to find solutions to live issues
  • Ensure site safety critical issues are escalated correctly and immediately
  • Handle customer complaints
  • Manage the vehicle defect reporting system
  • Complete administration tasks that are required in order to produce information that will be used to monitor safety, efficiency and profitability of the contracts
