AQUMEN Recruitment is working in partnership with a leading Manufacturing Company based in the heart of West Yorkshire.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Customer Service Advisor to join their Customer Service and Sales team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our customer service and sales functions. In addition to delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales, you will act as the Team Manager in their absence, providing leadership and support to the team. 

You will also be part of the long-term succession plan to become Team Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service Excellence:

    • Deliver exceptional service to customers via phone, email, and in-person interactions.

    • Resolve customer queries and complaints efficiently and professionally.

    • Ensure all customer interactions align with company standards and values.

  • Sales Support:

    • Identify sales opportunities and recommend suitable products or services to customers.

    • Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets.

    • Provide guidance and training to team members on sales techniques and best practices.

  • Team Leadership:

    • Act as the Team Manager in their absence, ensuring the team remains motivated and productive.

    • Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback to team members.

    • Handle scheduling, delegation of tasks, and issue resolution when required.

  • Process Improvement:

    • Identify areas for improvement in customer service and sales processes.

    • Work collaboratively with the Team Manager and other departments to implement changes.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in a customer service and/or sales role.

  • Strong leadership skills, with experience managing or supervising a team.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to handle challenging situations and resolve conflicts effectively.

  • Target-driven and motivated to exceed sales goals.

  • Proficient in using customer relationship management (CRM) systems and other relevant software.
