We are seeking a passionate SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive school community renowned for its personalised, aspirational, and specialist curriculum tailored to meet the unique needs of each pupil. Day-to-day of the role:
  • Support pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs in their learning and development.
  • Work closely with teachers to deliver tailored educational programmes.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assist with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs).
  • Encourage and support pupils in developing their social and emotional skills.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience working with children with SEN in a similar role or a transferable role.
  • Confidence and a proactive approach to supporting children with special needs.
  • A DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
  • A commitment to going above and beyond to support pupils’ learning and development.
