We are seeking a passionate Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive school community in Huddersfield. This role is ideal for someone dedicated to making a significant impact in the lives of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Support pupils with special educational needs in their learning and development.
  • Work closely with teachers to deliver tailored educational programmes.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assist with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs).
  • Encourage and support pupils in developing their social and communication skills.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience working with children with SEN in a similar role or a transferable role.
  • Confidence and a proactive approach to supporting children with special needs.
  • A DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
  • A commitment to going above and beyond to support pupils’ learning and development.
