Electronic Design Engineer: Our client is an established electronics manufacturer seeking an Electronic Design Engineer to work within their design team. Applications are welcome from candidates with relevant experience willing to relocate. The appointed electronic design engineer will be be developing new product designs and improving existing products for a wide range of lighting technologies. Prior experience with lighting would be beneficial but is not essential.Degree/HND qualified in electrical & electronic engineering or equivalent you will assist with the creation of test products and assembly instructions, research and fault find for continuous design improvement, and ensure all products are compliant with the relevant UK and European standards. All design is conducted in-house in the UK with manufacture in the Far East.The ideal electronic design engineer will have experience of circuit design theory and of using embedded micros and coding (eg PIC). Usual Microsoft Office skills will be expected.
