They are an International brand and have a strong presence at their manufacturing facility on the Wakefield / Huddersfield border. They are well known for their commitment to quality, safety, and operational excellence.
Description
As a Production Operator (Machinist) you will:
- Operate machinery and equipment according to prescribed procedures.
- Perform regular maintenance and safety checks on machinery.
- Ensure production quotas are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Assist in troubleshooting technical issues and implement solutions.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
Profile
The successful Production Operator (Machinist) should have:
- Worked in a similar position within a manufacturing organisation.
- Technical skills and proficiency with machinery operation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
