Job Title - Commercial Property PA,Salary - £25,000 - £30,000,Location - Huddersfield,We're excited to offer a great opportunity for a Personal Assistant to join our expanding team, based in Huddersfield.As a Personal Assistant (PA), your primary responsibility is to support Fee Earners within the Commercial Property team, ensuring the smooth operation of the department. You will be expected to take initiative and manage your workload independently while working as part of a team. Adherence to agreed practices, procedures, and compliance and quality standards will be essential.Key Responsibilities:Manage client phone calls, inquiries, and requests, including taking messages, scheduling appointments, and offering assistance where possible. Collaborate closely with a Commercial Property Fee Earner to organize both digital and physical files, maintain original documents, and track important deadlines for ongoing matters. Assist Fee Earners with the general management of cases, including filing, typing from digital dictation, and photocopying when required. Handle incoming emails and postal correspondence, organizing and responding appropriately. Draft and submit SDLT (Stamp Duty Land Tax) returns online as directed. Provide support to Fee Earners and team members as needed. Undertake any reasonable tasks as requested by the team. Ensure post-completion duties are carried out, such as Companies House registrations, SDLT submissions, and ordering indemnity policies when applicable. Assist with exchanges and completions. Maintain confidentiality of the firm's and clients' documentation and information. Participate in required training and take responsibility for your ongoing professional development. Offer support to other secretaries as required.Person Specification - Essential Skills/Qualifications:Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and telephone communication skills. Strong word-processing capabilities. Previous experience in either residential or commercial property.
