Fit Out Estimator

Headley have a live vacancy with our client in Huddersfield seeking an Estimator experienced in the interior fit out sector. The company is a good quality bespoke joinery manufacturer and fit out company.

The principle purpose of the role is to produce competitive project estimates and continually manage budgets as projects proceed.

Duties to include:

• Calculating material and labour costs from project enquiries
• Liaising with suppliers, sub-contractors, trades etc to negotiate best outcomes, and subsequently managing this process as projects proceed
• Compiling and submitting tenders and supporting documentation
• Managing costs as projects progress
• Liaison with the client as required, including site visits where necessary

Skills/Experience

• Estimator or QS experience in the commercial fit out sector
• Excellent construction knowledge, to include materials, processes and costs
• Excellent organisational and project management skills/experience
• Strong analytical and numerical capabilities
• Effective communicator, personable and able to work with a team
• Good attitude to work, committed and dedicated
• Construction or related degree preferred, not essential
