HR Assistant £26000-£28500

My client, one of Huddersfield’s major employers, has engaged Reed’s services to recruit a HR Assistant/Advisor to join their small HR team based near to the centre of Huddersfield.

This varied HR role will have you working across numerous workstreams including recruitment, employee engagement & wellbeing, EDI, L&D and policy. Your specific area of focus will change based on the organisational needs so you will need a degree of flexibility and adaptability in your approach to your workload.

Here is a small sample of some of your duties within this role:

Offer advice and guidance to managers and staff on engaging with learning and training content, high performance and culture, induction, leadership and management, and soft-skills development.
Collaborate with managers to identify skills gaps and create targeted training initiatives to address them.
Assist in managing disciplinaries, conflict resolution, restructures, safeguarding, performance management, probation, and change management.
Offer professional and unbiased guidance to managers throughout various stages of processes, such as investigations, hearings, and appeals.
Provide support in all aspects of the recruitment process, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality assurance.

My client is looking for a HR or Recruitment experienced individual whether that be through qualification/education or through work experience.

Unfortunately if you do not have any exposure to HR you cannot be considered for this role.
