Swift Placements are seeking an organised and proactive Sales Coordinator with experience in the building or construction industry. The successful candidate will support the sales team in managing customer relationships, processing orders, and coordinating projects from initial inquiry through to completion. The sales Coordinator will act as a crucial link between customers, sales teams, and other departments, ensuring smooth communication and efficient operations. You will also provide support to our Business Development Managers.

Full-time Permanent position

Monday- Friday

Hours of work: Mon-Thursday 8am-5pm | Fridays 8am-4pm on 40 hours a week.

Salary: £25,000- £27,000 with potential of incentives.

Holidays 23 days per year (includes 8 statutory days)

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Support:

Assist the sales team in preparing proposals, quotes, and contracts.

Process orders, track shipments, and ensure timely delivery to clients.

Coordinate with suppliers, logistics, and other departments to ensure materials are available and delivered on time.

Support the BDMs with onboarding new and lapsed clients.

Updating sales and customer records.

Customer Relationship Management:

Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing updates on order status.

Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and support the sales team in acquiring new clients.

Handle customer complaints and escalate issues when necessary.

Converting customer enquiries via email and phone.

Contacting clients to obtain missing information or answer any queries.

Administration:

Maintain and update customer databases, sales records, and project files.

Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review.

Organise meetings with new and lapsed clients, prepare agendas, and take minutes during sales and project meetings.

What we are looking for:

Proven experience as a sale administrator or a sales support agent

Ideally from a construction or building industry

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.

Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
