Care AssistantSearch Consultancy are working with a large provider of care for service users with learning difficulties to source a number of experienced support workers in Denby Dale / Wakefield. The emphasis of this job will be supporting service users in their daily activities and caring for them. You will be actively interacting with the service users and taking part in different activities such as going on walks or taking part in arts and crafts.It is essential you have previous experience working within care and supported living.Working day shifts throughout the week, you will be expected to:- Provide a residential service for vulnerable service users- Follow care plans for the residents and engage with them- Administer care, including personal hygiene- Ensure the well-being of residents, adhering to CQC care standards- De-escalate challenging situations- Take part in daily activitiesSearch are particularly interested to hear from applicants who:- Have at least 6 months UK based experience in care to vulnerable young adults, in either a residential or domiciliary setting, and are able to provide up to date and satisfactory references- Have completed and are willing to take further training in moving and handling, first aid and basic health and safety.

- Must be happy to work weekends occasionaly
