Job Description

A Non Conformance Engineer plays a crucial role in the Aerospace and Defense industry, ensuring that all products and processes meet the highest quality standards.

As a Non Conformance Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying, documenting, and resolving any non-conformance issues that may arise during the manufacturing process. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to investigate and analyze non-conformance reports, develop corrective actions, and implement effective solutions to prevent future occurrences.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough investigations of non-conformance issues, including root cause analysis and failure mode analysis.

Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to develop and implement corrective actions.

Monitor and track the progress of corrective actions, ensuring timely completion and effectiveness.

Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve non-conformance issues and improve overall product quality.

Maintain accurate documentation of non-conformance reports, investigations, and corrective actions.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes and reduce non-conformance occurrences.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.

Previous experience in a similar role within the Aerospace and Defense industry.

Strong knowledge of qualitymanagementsystems and standards.

Proficient in root cause analysis and failure mode analysis techniques.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Investigate and analyze non-conformance issues in products, processes, and systems.

Identify root causes of non-conformance and develop effective corrective actions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence.

Conduct thorough inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Develop and maintain documentation related to non-conformance issues, including reports and records.

Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal teams on non-conformance issues.

Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of corrective actions and make necessary improvements.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field

Proven experience as a Non Conformance Engineer or in a similar role within the Aerospace and Defense industry

Strong knowledge of quality management systems and industry standards (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001)

Proficient in root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques

Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment

Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing processes and materials is preferred
