A new, senior level opportunity has become available with one of Yorkshire's most reputable firms. This regional firm is looking to make a senior hire into its Huddersfield-based team at Senior Solicitor/Partner level. 

Joining this well-respected Employment team, you will play a key leadership role that requires exceptional legal expertise, business development skills and a proven ability to bring in a client following, while generating new business. 

This exciting position will include:

  • Taking the lead in business development, developing and nurturing client relationships, leveraging existing networks and contacts
  • Engaging in networking events, industry conferences and seminars to enhance the firm’s reputation 
  • Providing expert legal advice and guidance on a wide range of employment law matters to corporate clients and individuals
  • Handling complex employment cases, including discrimination claims and unfair dismissals
  • Drafting and advising upon employment documentation, including contracts of employment, policies, disciplinary and grievances procedures
  • Dealing with all aspects of the employment/tribunal process, including drafting Particulars of Complaint and Grounds of Resistance, attending Preliminary Hearings, dealing with case management steps and preparing witness statements and trial bundles
  • Liaising with company commercial and corporate departments and advising clients with respect to employment issues associated with share and asset (TUPE) sales
