Our client is a leading manufacturer about to enter a period of aggressive expansion. Due to rapid growth they wish to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Site Manager to plan and oversee one of the new sites in their portfolio that is ramping up production in 2025. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Site Manager to join a rapidly growing company with excellent training and career prospects in the short term. You'll be given site responsibility for the fastest growing part of the group and be able to grow it as you see fit.
Site Manager - Role and Responsibilities - Installations Manager / Production Manager / Steelwork / Fabrication / Construction / IOSH / Contracts Manager
* Day-to-day management of site installations in terms of labour resource, timelines, installation documentation (H&S/ work instructions) and budgets in conjunction with the Project Managers
* Assistance with preparation of risk assessments and method statements where appropriate
* Liaise closely with Project Managers keeping them informed of site progress, issues and opportunities
* Lead on-site customer liaison before, during and post installation
* Drive, report and communicate any obstacles to project delivery, production, installation and further sales opportunities
* Ensure site QHSE standards are maintained in line with documented RAMS, company procedures and legislative requirements
* Manage and develop the nationwide labour and subcontractor base delivering effective capacity for growth
* Provide weekly summaries of production and installation activity, plus a monthly report capturing issues and trends.

* Successful track record as a Production Manager, ideally in a construction / steel erection related field
* Excellent knowledge of current HSE legislation/ standards
* Qualifications ideally to include IOSH Managing Safely
* Be able to handle multiple projects / customers / suppliers / contractors and internal staff
* Have excellent organisation and communication skills and be a strong team player
