Strategy & Performance Asset Manager needed in Huddersfield, £54,317 to £55,267 PA - Reference: 0009 1FFF / 1

You will support the Head of Service with the strategic, operational, and financial management of the service area.You will work with colleagues across the organisation and with partners as a change agent and ensure positive outcomes for the service area, and for Homes and Neighbourhoods residents and stakeholders.You will deliver Strategic Asset Management, while supporting the Head of Service in developing long term plans to provide homes and services that put residents and communities first and are fit for the future.

• Lead and co-ordinate HRA related Capital and Revenue investment programmes across Housing. Support the Head of Service in establishing overall asset strategies, related investment profiles and options appraisals based on up to date and reliable asset data.• Establish and implement 5-year Capital/Revenue programmes based on agreed strategic priorities.• Co-ordinate the collection, management and use of asset and condition data to enable programmes and packages of work to be produced. Work collaboratively with colleagues and other key enablers and partners to develop and deliver proposals, commissioning specialist input where required.• Support the team to introduce and implement standard Operating Procedures in line with Service EFQM approach. Reviewing and updating procedures to reflect changing circumstances and learning.• Contribute to the development of the team approach to data and intelligence.• Establish key relationships to ensure a holistic approach to planning and programming.• Champion the delivery of the Asset Management Strategy, ensuring that policies and plans help us to deliver the Housing Standard.• Oversee a team of asset/technical specialists and line management of managers assigned in the structure.

This is a full time role on a Permanent basis.
