As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting the class teacher with lesson instruction and in increasing pupil confidence.

Where: Huddersfield

Shift Pattern: day-to-day after October half term

Class: EYFS - KS2

Pay: £85 - £95 per day, depending on experience

When students leave this Primary school, they will be well-prepared for life, equipped with resilience, compassion, and the courage to advocate for themselves and others, enabling them to reach their full potential.The successful TA will be responsible for the progress and attainment of a high achieving class and the support of pupils on a 1:1 and/or small group basis.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Assisting teachers in lesson delivery, classroom management, and fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Providing individualised support to pupils facing learning challenges to ensure comprehension of the curriculum.
  • Aiding in the preparation of teaching materials and organising resources for lessons.
  • Establishing positive relationships with all pupils based on trust and mutual respect.
  • Collaborating effectively with the key stage and wider staff to share advice, resources, and best practices.

Essential Requirements:

  • Any relevant TA qualifications.
  • Excellent references to support previous experience.
  • A CV that covers full employment history.
  • The right to work in the UK.
  • All candidates for posts will be asked to provide suitable references and undergo an enhanced DBS check.
