Day-to-Day of the Role
  • Supporting pupils with SEMH needs in their learning and development.
  • Assisting the class teacher in creating a positive learning environment.
  • Providing one-on-one support to pupils as needed.
  • Helping to implement individual education plans (IEPs).
  • Encouraging and promoting positive behaviour.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience working with children with SEN in a similar or transferable role.
  • Confidence and a proactive approach to supporting children with special needs.
  • A DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
  • A commitment to going above and beyond to support pupils’ needs.
