NextGen Teachers are currently recruiting for an Autism Support Assistant who is looking for a new position in a Special School based in Huddersfield.

This school caters for children between the ages of 4-16 years and have different pathways of learning for the students depending on their levels of needs. Each pathway is tailored to their needs as every child has an EHCP.

This school caters for children who live with Autism and so applicants should be experienced in working with children who have Autism, or similar needs.

Successful applicants will have:

  • Level 3 Qualification or relevant qualifications
  • Previous professional or personal experience with Special Educational Needs
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to complete one)
  • Full-time availability
  • 2x professional references
  • Right to work in the UK
