- Adopt strategies to support the teacher and enhance the achievement of all students, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
- Promote and facilitate inclusion by encouraging the participation of all students in learning activities.
- Assist class teachers in maintaining good order and discipline amongst students.
- Organise and manage the teaching space, developing resources to create a stimulating and safe learning environment.
- Lead small groups and one-on-one teaching sessions, and cover classes as needed under supervision.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working with students with SEN in the UK.
- HLTA status or equivalent qualification.
- A proactive and caring attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in planning and delivering lessons.
