My client are seeking experienced Surveyors to join their operational teams. The role involves pricing works, monitoring progress, and assessing income leading to Final Accounts. You will provide technical expertise on all aspects of building maintenance and surveying, contributing to the Asset Management Plan and supporting the Team Leader in delivering operational duties.

Day to day of the role:
  • Provide technical expertise on building maintenance and surveying, ensuring high-quality standards in building works and associated services.
  • Prepare detailed specifications for projects, planning and monitoring work to meet the requirements of each project or scheme.
  • Conduct stock condition surveys and contribute to the Asset Management Plan and Investment Strategy.
  • Perform Professional Estimating and Quantity Surveying functions for contractual agreements, from initial receipt of documentation to the submission and agreement of final accounts.
  • Project manage programmes, schemes, contracts, maintenance contracts, and planned maintenance.
  • Offer specialist advice on structural defects and manage specialist works related to this.
  • Collaborate with Team Leaders and other Surveyors to monitor, analyse, and deliver improvements across performance indicators to increase customer satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • GCSE (or equivalent) Grade 4 (C) or above in English & Maths.
  • ONC or equivalent (Level 3 BTEC in Construction and the Built Environment) or relevant City and Guilds qualification, or working towards such qualification.
  • HNC or equivalent (Level 4 in the Construction and Built Environment) or equivalent experience in the Building Surveying environment, or working towards qualification.
  • Experience with Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in data input and maintenance of databases and/or Contact Management Systems.
  • Ability to travel to various locations for job duties, with a full and valid driving licence and a car available for work.
