Description
- Ensure all customers requirements are met in a cost-effective manner.
- Provide excellent customer service while adhering to legislation and compliance.
- Utilise strong transport planning skills to carry out operational and administrative tasks.
- Efficiently plan and organise deliveries to meet customer needs.
- Perform accurate data entry, record-keeping, and reporting.
- Address various work challenges in a busy environment, often with minimal supervision.
- Serve as the first point of contact for driver technicians, offering guidance and support.
Profile
A successful Transport Planner should have:
- The ability to work various shift patterns (mornings, evenings, nights, weekends)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good numerous skills
