A dedicated team committed to providing high-quality services that meet the needs of clients and contribute to the built environment.Role Overview: Brilliant opportunity for a Transport Planner to be a technical lead on projects and be a work winner. You will be supporting a diverse client base for projects across the UK ranging from commercial, retail and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • A solid understanding of street / traffic engineering first principles and demonstrable experience.
  • Preparation of Transport Assessments and Travel Plan Reports.
  • Transport scheme design and appraisal with knowledge of relevant policy, guidance and advice including DMRB and MfS.
  • You should be able to analyse traffic data, then collate and interpret it.
  • Experience of transport modelling software packages such as ARCADY, PICADY, LINSIG, and TRICS is essential, as well as AutoCAD and AutoTrack.
  • Knowledge of the principles of strategic transport modelling, or prior experience of using SATURN and VISUM software would be desirable.
  • An ability to interpret the results of transport models.
  • Robust written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues concisely.
