A Senior / Principal Transport Planner position is available at a leading Engineering Consultancy in Yorkshire.
The role requires a candidate with experience in street and traffic engineering, as well as transport assessments and travel plan reports.
The salary for this position ranges from £45k to £50k, along with a car allowance.
Candidates should have a background in an Engineering Consultancy and experience with transport modelling packages such as ARCADY and AutoCAD.
Hybrid working is offered, with the office located in West Yorkshire, commutable from several nearby cities.

We are looking for someone at a senior level with experience of street / traffic engineering together with a solid understanding of transport assessments and travel plan reports.

Salary: £45k - £50k base salary + Car allowance

Location: Hybrid working is in place, Office is in West Yorkshire – commutable from Leeds, Huddersfield, Sheffield, Barnsley, Bradford, Doncaster, Rotheram

What you will bring to the table:

You are an experienced Transport Planner who is looking to step into a Principal role. You will ideally have experience working in an Engineering Consultancy as a Transport Planner, working as part of a highways team. Experience preparing transport assessments and travel plan reports. You will have been heavily involved in transport scheme design guidance and advice including DMRB and MfS. You will have experience of any of the following transport modelling packages such as ARCADY, PICADY, LINSING and TRICS, as well as AutoCAD and AutoTrack. Any experience of SATURN or VISUM software would definitely be an advantage.
