Robert Half is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation based in Hull. This crucial role focuses on driving transformation and process improvement, leading key financial projects, and implementing efficient systems to promote operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee financial transformation initiatives aimed at improving financial processes and systems.
  • Design, implement, and regularly review financial processes to enhance compliance and operational efficiency. Manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting and reconciliations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to introduce process improvements across the finance function.
  • Develop, analyse, and review budgets, and forecasts
  • Mentor and manage a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

Your Profile:

  • Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA, or equivalent
  • Demonstrable experience in financial control
  • Proven expertise in managing financial transformation and change management projects within fast-paced environments
  • Strong competency in overseeing and executing complex projects involving cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and deliver results within defined time frames
