Robert Half is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation based in Hull. This crucial role focuses on driving transformation and process improvement, leading key financial projects, and implementing efficient systems to promote operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee financial transformation initiatives aimed at improving financial processes and systems.
- Design, implement, and regularly review financial processes to enhance compliance and operational efficiency. Manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting and reconciliations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to introduce process improvements across the finance function.
- Develop, analyse, and review budgets, and forecasts
- Mentor and manage a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Your Profile:
- Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA, or equivalent
- Demonstrable experience in financial control
- Proven expertise in managing financial transformation and change management projects within fast-paced environments
- Strong competency in overseeing and executing complex projects involving cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and deliver results within defined time frames
