A Management Accountant position is available in Hull with a salary of up to £40,000 on a 12-month contract basis.
This role is within a rapidly expanding FMCG business, presenting excellent long-term growth opportunities for the right candidate.
Key responsibilities include preparing weekly and monthly management accounts, stock reconciliations, and managing a team of two finance assistants.
Candidates should ideally be in the later stages of their CIMA/ACCA qualification or have strong QBE, with experience in manufacturing and operational reporting.
The position requires strong IT skills, particularly in Excel and ERP systems, and candidates should be available to start on short notice.

Management Accountant Responsibilities:

Preparation of the weekly management accounts including KPI reporting
Assist with the preparation of the monthly management accounts
Stock reconciliations and reporting
Management of a team of two finance assistants
To provide data to operations and commercial teams to assist with decision making
Ad-hoc project work and maintenance of general ledger
Education of operational teams at all levels, drive improvements through challenging business KPIs, operational performance and procedures

Required Skills & Experience:

Ideally later stages PQ or Qualified CIMA/ACCA or strong QBE
Strong manufacturing and operational reporting experience
Proven ability to build relationships cross functionally and a passion to get into the wider business and add value
Continuous improvement mentality
IT Literate including Excel and ERP systems
Available to commence on short notice
