Management Accountant – Hull – 35,000–£45,000 (depending on experience)We are currently working in partnership with a specialist services business based in East Yorkshire who are market leaders and going through an incredibly exciting period of growth. Due to this sustained and expected future growth they are currently recruiting for a part or fully qualified management accountant to join their great team as a permanent addition.   The purpose of this role is to provide the business with timely and accurate reporting and MI for your division, in order to support Operational Managers in making informed business decisions. Benefits include:

Primary responsibilities include:
  • Produce monthly management accounts and reforecast including commentary
  • Communicate financial results and insights to non-financial stakeholders
  • Prepare detailed cost analysis and discuss with Sales and Operations Management
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate and resolve discrepancies
  • Annual budgeting process for your division
  • Assist with year-end including liaising with external auditors
  • Ad hoc analysis and project work
Skills and Abilities required:
  • CIMA or equivalent qualification or part qualified
  • Experience of working in a management accounts role or similar
  • Shows dedication and accountability
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Confident, adaptable personality with a positive attitude towards change and new challenges as well as good communication skills
  • Strong excel skills and confidence with data manipulation, has previously worked with large, complex data sets
