The role involves preparation of financial statements, participation in client meetings, handling corporate tax matters, and providing bookkeeping services.
Candidates should be AAT qualified or have recently completed AAT, with knowledge of CCH AP, Alphatax, CCH Review and Tag being advantageous.
A good working knowledge of Excel, Sage, and Xero is required, along with experience as an Accountants Assistant in an accountancy firm.
The position offers a salary ranging from £26,000 to £32,000, alongside benefits such as 25 days annual leave, a bonus scheme, flexible work times, and full study support.

Exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join a large top 10 firm based in Hull.You will have the opportunity to work with clients across a wide range of sectors including retail, media and technology, real estate and construction and energy and natural resources.As an Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for:

Preparation of financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
Being involved in client meetings as and when necessary.
Dealing with corporate tax matters including the preparation of corporation tax returns.
Bookkeeping services including the preparation of VAT returns.

To be applicable for this Assistant Accountant position, you should:

Be AAT qualified or recently completed AAT.
Have knowledge of CCH AP, Alphatax, and CCH Review and Tag would be advantageous.
Have good working knowledge of Excel, Sage, and Xero.
Be able to relate well to other staff and work as part of a team.
Be currently working as an Accountants Assistant in an Accountancy firm.
