Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform bank and account reconciliations.
- Support the accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Conduct variance analysis and report findings to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other statutory filings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of one year of relevant accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) is preferred.
- Strong analytically and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
